Harlem Eat Up is the brainchild of world renown chef and Harlem resident Chef Marcus Samuelsson and Karlitz & Company, premier producer of events and lifestyle experiences. Drunken Fruit had the distinct pleasure of participating in the event for the second time at the 5th annual celebration.

The event was hosted by Bevy Smith, and featured popular Harlem food and entertainment destinations like; The Harlem Chocolate Factory, Lolos Seafood Shack, Melba's Restaurant, Red Rooster Harlem, Harlem Shake. Cove Lounge, and Harlem Haberdashery.

Noted highlights of the week included the "Dine in Harlem Series" a celebration of food, culture, and history as attendees enjoyed culinary delights conceptualized by chefs Michael Elegbede, Andrew Zimmern, Mashama Bailey, Scott Conant, Kwame Onwuachi, and Anne Burrell while honoring the likes of David Dinkins, Lana Turner, Madame CJ Walker posthumously and fashion designer Dapper Dan.

Another highly sought after hot ticket event was the Ultimate Grand Tasting at the Stroll in Morningside Park. There the Drunken Fruit Crew provided desserts and cocktails featuring some our delectable flavors. We had a ball networking with fellow vendors, restaurant owners, and attendees for two days
